How most of us feel right now?!

leeds united vs norwich city 1992-93

Ok, so this has nothing to do with the above picture, but today, just needs to be said.

The fact that Morison plus a minute amount of cash was a poor piece of business stopped being up for debate quite a while ago.

Today, it went from 'poor piece of business' to 'absolute farce'.

16 games and a mere 3 goals later 'Future legend' Steve Morison has been shipped off on a season long loan. The most annoying thing about this? He'll probably start being really good again for Millwall.

Equally irritating is the fact that this whole fiasco has revealed that we literally can't afford a free transfer without getting rid of someone first.

I trust McDermott, but he's been left with a right mess.

And the funny thing is; this could be the only time that Warnock's smug stupid face has been right about something: We are all saying: "That Morison; Warnock signed him!"

Crap Loanees as Pro Wrestlers (gimmicks)

Leeds United Loanee from arsenal stone cold steve austin what gimmick

So, with today's news confirming that our owners do not, in fact, have a pot to piss in, talk on WACCOE has turned to whether we should sign out-of-contract, last-seen-at-Colchester Sanchez Watt.

Well, he ticks the first box- He's free. But what about that nagging 'is he actually good enough' box?

One thing we can all at least partly base this judgment on... was he a crap loanee?!

Well, in League 1, he had a decent game against 8 man MK Dons, but I'm not really sure that's an appropriate yardstick.

Hard to draw a conclusion from his Championship appearances for us either. Fair enough, he was competing for places with 2 of the best players we've had in a long time, but when he did get his chance, he never seemed to take it.

While he did grab a few assists, for every Millwall, there was a Reading, and the fact that he figured in less than half the games that season is telling, as far as I'm concerned.

Conclusion- wasn't good enough then... sadly probably is now.

'Americas' XI

Confeds Cup got me thinking about this: Could an 'Americas' XI be made out of players that have represented Leeds? Yes is the answer!

It has to include North and South American nations, but it can actually be done with subs to spare. Here it is:

Subs: David Gonzalez, Robbie Rogers, Marlon King, Jemal Johnson.

Bessone is out of position, but he's good enough to cope, right? Defence could be the problem area for this team, to be fair.

The nations represented are: Trinidad and Tobago, Argentina, USA, Brazil, Canada, Jamaica, Honduras and (on the Bench) Colombia.

Leeds have also had a couple of Surinamese born players (Hasselbaink, De Vries) but both of them took on Dutch nationality, so that's why I haven't included them.

Corinthians: Clough

Leeds UNited Nottingham forest derby county damned united

"You lot may all be internationals and have won all the domestic honours there are to win under Don Revie. But as far as I'm concerned, the first thing you can do for me is to chuck all your medals and all your caps and all your pots and all your pans into the biggest fucking dustbin you can find, because you've never won any of them fairly. You've done it all by bloody cheating."

(I know this figure is based on Clough's appearance in his Forest days, but still thought it was worth posting)

Obviously the Uefa Cup appearance, run to the League Cup final and Goal of the Season contenders of the previous season didn't really compare to the record breaking number of 0-0s...

Leeds United El Hadji Diouf

Ok, a while ago now, but talk on The Squareball podcast of 'harmless willy waving' reminded me of this incident.

Red Card?!

Corinthians: Danny Mills

Leeds United Manchester city football man corinthian figure repainted

So, those of you know know a bit about Corinthians may look at this and think: "They never made a Danny Mills in Leeds colours!"

And you'd be right! This started life as a Man City Mills, and I repainted it myself!

If you've missed this so far, I've set up another blog dedicated to my Corinthian Repaints. Oh and a facebook page too. Plenty of Leeds repaints to look at, and many others too.

If you'd like a Leeds Danny Mills of your own (or a Batty, Kisnorbo, dare I say Cantona, or pretty much any other figure you own, or can get hold of on ebay) get in contact!

You can do so by commenting here, on the facebook page, or on my twitter.
